Tim A. Fuchs, 59

Blue Earth – Tim Alan Fuchs, age 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Methodist Campus in Rochester. In lieu of funeral services, his body will be donated for medical purposes per his wishes.

Tim was born on Sept. 4, 1961 in Blue Earth, to Marvin and Vera (Blanchfield) Fuchs. He graduated from Blue Earth Area High School in 1980. After graduation, he worked in several jobs such as Dairy Queen, and Green Giant before moving to Dickinson, North Dakota to work at Dickinson Press, Wendy’s, and Woolworth’s. While in Dickinson, he met his sweetheart, Sharon Dutchuk, and they married on Valentine’s Day 1987. In this union, they had two children, Justin, and Sarah. They lived in North Dakota for a while before moving to Great Falls, Montana where Tim worked at Big R as a salesperson. After several years, they moved back to Blue Earth in 1994. While back in Minnesota, Tim worked in a variety of jobs, such as Cargill, Walmart in both Blue Earth and Fairmont, and Twelve Baskets and Fleet and Farm in Fairmont.

Tim was a sociable person who loved to mingle with the public. He had a great sense of humor and liked to joke with others. In his free time, he had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening, archery, cooking, and spending time with family. In addition, going on car rides to look for deer, as well as sharing wisdom with his family about life in general were among other things he enjoyed doing. He will be truly missed by many who knew him.

He was survived by his wife, Sharon, of Blue Earth; son, Justin Fuchs, of Blue Earth; daughter, Sarah Fuchs, of Blue Earth; grandson, Jayden Fuchs, of Blue Earth; brother, Steven (Lynn) Fuchs, of Big Lake, and several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Debra Fuchs; infant son, Jason; and many aunts and uncles.
