Karen F. Oja, 75

(Formally of Blue Earth) - Karen (Frandle) Oja, age 75, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2021 in Burnsville, due to COVID. Tuesday, Sept.14, 2021 at 10 a.m. funeral services were held at South Metro Vineyard Church in Burnsville. The service was officiated by Pastor Greg Perkinson.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Corrine (Eastvold) Frandle. Karen is survived by her husband, David Oja; two brothers, Glen (Ardell) Frandle, and John (Joan) Frandle; two nieces, Char (Kevin) Thompson, and Lisa (Todd) Smith; two nephews, Mark (Lynn) Frandle, and David (Gina) Frandle, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Karen was born on June 22, 1946 in Blue Earth. She attended school in Frost and graduated from Frost High School. She grew up on a farm, worked a few places in Minneapolis, went to Europe, and married her life partner, David Oja.

Karen always brought fun and family togetherness to our family-holiday gatherings. She always enjoyed visiting with family. She appreciated and enjoyed life.

The interment for Karen (Frandle) Oja was Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at the Dell Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Frost, officiated by Pastor Joe Ocker.
