Ronald Runge, 76

Blue Earth – Ronald Runge, age 76, passed away Oct. 5, 2021 at Parkview Care Center in Wells. A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 14 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore, Rev. Robert Roettger officiated.

Ronald was born Nov. 28, 1944 to Harvey and Theone (Hove) Runge. He grew up on the family farm in Barber Township, Faribault County, Minnesota.

Ronald enjoyed working for farmers, mowing lawns and especially loved dogs. German Shepards seemed to be one of his favorites. He attended school in Blue Earth and was confirmed at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.

He is survived by his sisters, Carol Boettcher and Jane Stevermer; his brother, Mark (Marlys) Runge; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda; and brother-in-law, Marvin Boettcher.
