Bobbi Jo Soma, 52

Winnebago – Bobbi Jo Soma, of Winnebago, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 15, at UHD Hospital in Blue Earth.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Bob (Gayle) Soma, of Madelia; mother, Penny (Andy) Soma, of Winnebago; brother, Jeff (Pam) Soma, of Mankato; nieces, Taylor Soma, of Mankato, Kylie (Tyler) Trimbo, of St. Peter; step-brother, Sean Fenske, of Mankato, Kristin Schuette, of Minnetonka; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Shawn Soma; grandparents, Everett and Marjorie Johnson and Omer and Avis Soma; and aunts, uncles, and one cousin.

Bobbi Jo was born on Oct. 29, 1969. She attended and graduated from Blue Earth High School. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. She also loved working on her computer, playing Yahtzee, Uno, and other card games. Bobbi Jo had a knack for remembering birthdays – if  you spent any time with her, she knew what day to wish you well! She also loved going to work at MRCI and later at Step Inc.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, family services will be held at a later date. Any memorials or cards may be sent to Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, and from there will be directed to the family.
