David Sparks, 76

Blue Earth – David Sparks, age 76, passed away on Dec. 23, 2021.

He was born on Feb. 19, 1945 in Sargeant, MN to Arthur and Emma Sparks. He moved to Blue Earth in the summer of 1967. He had been hired as a social studies teacher at Blue Earth High School. He taught for several years and then became the Library Media Specialist, his last years he was the Technology Coordinator. He worked for the Blue Earth School for over 46 years.

David is survived by his wife, Jacci; sons, Jason, Nathan and Aaron; grandchildren, Harrison, Theodore and Loretta; mother-in-law, Colleen Overton; his siblings, Arlene McNeill, Larry (Sharon) Sparks, Clint (Wendy) Sparks; sister-in-law, Esther Sparks; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

His memorial service will be held Feb. 19, 2022 at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
