Mankato – Joseph C. Linder, age 92, of Mankato, formerly of Easton, died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato. A Memorial service was held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells. Father Peter Klein officiated and burial was in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Military Honors were accorded by the Wells Color Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association. Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements. Joseph Clement Linder was born June 16, 1930, the son of Charles H. and Louise (Echle) Linder in Easton. Joe attended Delavan High School and after high school, enlisted in the US Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean War. Joseph was united in marriage to Janice Abbott, Nov. 17, 1958 in Mankato. He was a long-time member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and most recently, St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Joe farmed his entire life.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Janice Linder, of Mankato; five children: Bradley Linder of Burnsville, Kathleen (Brian) Herbers of Prior Lake, Jeff (Deb) Linder of Easton, Joanie (Todd) Foss of Prior Lake, and David (Rita) Linder of Brainerd, along with their children and families; two sisters: Bernice (Frank) Giese of Colorado, Doris (Mark) Marquardt of Fairfax; sisters-in-law: Marce Linder and Marilyn Juliar, both of Florida; brother: Bob (Peg) Linder of Easton, along with many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold; and brother-in-law, Orvis Juliar.
