Blue Earth – Barb Moore, age 93, of Blue Earth and formerly of Williams, Iowa passed away peacefully with her children by her side, Monday, Sept. 12, 2022 at St. Luke’s Care Center.

A funeral service was held at Patton Funeral Home Friday, Sept.16 at 11 a.m. Burial will be Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at the North Lawn Cemetery, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Online condolences can be left at www.pattonfh.com

Barbara Jean was born May 25, 1929 to Harry and Bernice (Butterfield) Curran in Nata-wash. Her family later moved to Blue Earth where she graduated high school. After graduating, she worked at the Cabin Café before venturing off to cosmetology school in Fort Dodge. Barb worked as a beautician for over 20 years in the Williams and Badger, Iowa area all while raising her children. On May 25, 1972 she married Max Moore. Together they raised a blended family in Williams.

Barb enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, fishing and bird watching. Her greatest pleasure was her family, who will miss her dearly.

Left to cherish such wonderful memories are her children: Glenn Glanzman, of Blue Earth, Steve Glanzman, of Williams, Iowa and Nancy Clabaugh, of Webster City, Iowa; six grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren and step-daughter, Diane.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max; children, Susan, Patricia and Michael; six brothers; eight sisters and two step-children.
