Michael P. Wegner, 70

Wells – Michael P. Wegner, age 70, of Wells, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Oct. 3, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, Father Greg Havel and Deacon Gene Paul officiated. Interment was in Rice Cemetery. Mike was born Oct. 13, 1951 in Wells, the son of Philip and LaVon (Katzung) Wegner. He graduated from Kiester High school in 1969. He married Marlene Ann Hassing in 1972.

Mike is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Eric (Shannon) Wegner, of Wells, Michelle (Scott) Oltman, of Wells, Ryan (Amy) Wegner, of Buffalo; six grandchildren; two step-grandsons; two great-grandchildren; mother, Lavon Wegner, of Wells; brother, Ronald (Jody) Wegner, of Wells; sisters, Lori (Jerald) Beckel, of Madison Lake, and Connie (Dale) Stenzel, of Wells; and extended family.
