LaVon Wegner, 90

Wells – LaVon Wegner, age 90, of Wells, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 at Heartland Senior Living-Park- view Campus in Wells. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Open Doors United Methodist Church in Wells, with Pastor Chris Leistra officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 23 from 1-3 p.m. at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Rice Cemetery. LaVon Mae was born May 14, 1932 to Henry and Esther (Paulson) Katzung. She graduated from Kiester High School class of 1950. LaVon married Philip R. Wegner on Aug. 13, 1950.
