Margie P. Brannick, 83
Winnebago – Margie Pearl Brannick, age 83, of Winnebago passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Mayo Hospital in Mankato.
She was born Feb. 28, 1939, in Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Lydia (Mitchell) Miller. She was a devoted wife and mother all the days of her life. She met the love of her life, Richard Brannick, and married him on Oct. 17, 1958 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She stayed home a good portion of her life caring and raising her children, working a few various jobs after they became old enough. She had a love for cooking, baking and was famous for her potato salad and banana bread. She spent time making afghans and tea towels for everyone in the family, which will be treasured for years to come. Family always came first and she welcomed anyone in as family. Her memory will live on in her devoted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Kristi) Brannick, of Zimmerman; son, Paul (Jean) Brannick, of Brooklyn Park; daughter, Karla (Jon) Holmes, of Wyoming; son, Jeff (Tanya Codere), of Crystal; grandchildren: Gary, Angela, Robert, John, Richard (Alexia), Cassie, Rochelle, Samantha (Mat), Crystal, Adam, Malinda and Abby; and two great-grandsons: Bryan and Tomas; and also, her beloved dog – Lily Mae.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brannick; son, Daniel (Diane) Brannick; parents, Raymond and Lydia Miller; sisters, Evalena, LaDonna, Colleen, Nila Joann and Eunice; brothers, Claus, Kenneth, Donald and Butch.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 at 11 a.m., at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Dows, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization.
