Milden Roscoe Schock was born on Oct. 12, 1930, in Pilot Grove Township to Carl and Anna (Olson) Schock. He grew up, lived and worked the family farm all his life.

On June 11, 1950 Milden was united in marriage to Loretta Delores Amundson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. The couple lovingly raised four children on the family farm and lived well. They retired from farming and continued to live on the homestead as they were almost always by each other’s side. They were partners and shared 68 wonderful years of marriage until Loretta passed away in 2018.

Milden was welcoming to all and loved life. He enjoyed life on the farm, raising all sorts of animals over the years and working the crop land. Milden loved to fish, hunt and enjoyed gardening and canning with Loretta. He also loved tinkering and building things, and anything John Deere.
