Clarence Edward Wetzel, 93

Wells – Clarence Edward Wetzel, of Wells, passed away on Friday, April 28, at his home in Wells, he was 93 years old.

Clarence was born Oct. 25, 1929, to August and Clara (Block) Wetzel in rural Wausau, Wisconsin. He married Thelma Gladys Boelke on Jan. 29, 1954, in Wells, where they farmed and raised two children.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Thelma Wetzel, of Wells; children, Patti Wetzel (Sirous) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Doug Wetzel (Christie), of Wells; two grandchildren; sister, Marion, and extended family.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. at Nasinec Funeral Home, 789 Business Park Drive, in Wells, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
