Mary Ann Stenzel
Mary Ann Stenzel was the daughter of Paul J. Perrizo and Nell L. Hansen. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mary Ann (eternally 29) passed away May 20, 2023 into the loving arms of husband Joseph Anthony, and her son Michael, who also preceded her in death. Raised in Winnebago, Mary Ann obtained a teaching degree from Winona State University, and then rescued her husband-to-be while working as a summer lifeguard on Bass Lake. Both were teachers, so the newlyweds opened MaryJoe Beach in the summers as they started their family. Mary Ann raised seven children while her husband practiced medicine. A mom to everyone, she shared her deep Catholic faith and values throughout her life. She was a Minnesota Twins fan like her father.
Mary Ann is survived and celebrated by her children, Joe (Catherine), Pete (Kathy), Mary Ellen, Jim (Laurie), Annie, Holly (Christian), and Missy and Andy; her grandchildren, Isaac, Molly, Skylar, Owan, Emily, Andrew, Willow, Becki, Sam, Avae, Oliver, Lucia; and great-grandchildren, James, Aurora, Kyra, Kyler, Quentin, Autumn, Ruby.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 26, at 10 a.m, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4087 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Private interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Delavan. Arrangements are with: www.gearty-delmore. com in Plymouth.
