Ramona Carroll, 75

Blue Earth – On July 31, 2023, Ramona “Mona” Carroll passed away peacefully at the age 75 after a battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at SSPP Catholic Church in Blue Earth. A time for visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mona was born on March 15, 1948. Her parents were Orville and LeaAnn Beckmann of Wells. On Jan. 7, 1967 Mona married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Carroll at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells. Dick and Mona were married 56 years. In addition to raising Richard’s two younger brothers Bill and Jim Carroll they had two children, Amy and Brad.

Mona was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help and regularly put others before herself. She loved spending time with family, cooking, baking, reading, and crocheting.

Mona is survived by her loving husband, Richard Carroll, of Blue Earth; daughter, Amy (Mark) Sathoff, of Dolliver, Iowa; son, Bradley (Amy) Carroll, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Ryan Meehan, of Granite Falls, Kayla Meehan, of Clarkesville, Tennessee, Bradley (Justine) Carroll Jr., of Richmond, Virginia, Krystal Sathoff and Lakyn (Josh) Bremer, of Fairmont; her great-grandchildren, Khloe, Kenzi and Ava; her sister, Dawn (Steve) Navara, of Wells; and brother, Jim (Donna) Beckmann, of Wells; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jon-Jon Carroll; her parents, Orville and LeaAnn Beckmann; brothers, Earl Beckmann and Baby Beckman; aunts, Alice LaMont, LaVaun Schroeder and Arnetta Randall; uncles, Art and “Butch” VanHorn.
