Helen L. Chirpich, 94

Fairmont – Helen Lavonne Chirpich, age 94, passed away Aug. 30, 2023 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Minnetonka. Helen was born in Cambria, on Feb. 19, 1929 to David Charles and Viola Bowen. She married Leon Chirpich on Aug. 30, 1949 and was soon enmeshed in family life with the births of 12 children. Helen lived a life filled with faith, family, music and joy!

Visitation will be held at the Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells on Oct. 27, 2023, at 4-7 p.m., and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Oct. 28 at St. Casimir Church.

Helen is survived by her children, Dave (Judy) Chirpich, Steven (Robin Fisher) Chirpich, Mary (Armando) Rivas, Nancy (Jim) Perron, Denise (Doug Betten) Chirpich, Kevin Chirpich, Don (Teresa) Chirpich, Brenda (Scott) Kirkwood, Carolyn (Tony) Cadotte, Richard (Cathy) Chirpich, Peter (Judy) Chirpich and Janelle (Peter) Wold, twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
