Dennis “Butch” Becker, 70

Easton – Dennis “Butch” Becker, age 70, of Easton, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023 at his home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 11 a.m. in Easton, Father Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Gene Paul officiated. Interment was in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements. Please see www.nasinecfh.com to leave online condolences.

Butch was born Jan. 19, 1953, the son of Lawrence and Gertrude (Dombrowski) Becker in Mankato. He graduated from Delavan Public High School. Butch was united in marriage to Kay Huffman on June 5, 1982 in Mankato. He was blessed with three daughters and seven grandsons. Butch was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton. He was a life-long farmer, a profession he loved. Butch was always willing to lend a helping hand, clearing out nine yards each time it snowed. He was an avid collector of tractors and big boy toys. Butch was a loving grandfather to his grandsons, and enjoyed taking in a car race, or going to the park for a game. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Butch is survived by his wife Kay Becker, of Easton; three daughters: Melissa (Scott) Duce, of Shoreview, Angie (Travis) DeBoer, of Fairmont, and Anita (Dustin) Anderson, of Mankato; grandsons: Charlie and Ryan Duce; Trace, Clay, and Lane DeBoer; and Everett and Huntley Anderson; brothers: James (Virginia) Becker, of Battle Ground, Washington, Gary (Diane) Becker, of Blue Earth; sister: Jean (Terry) Roeszler, of Warner, South Dakota; aunt, Carmel Gingiss, of California, and aunt, Louella Becker, of Blue Earth; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Gertie; infant sister, Terese Marie; along with numerous aunts and uncles.
