Ames, Iowa- Mary Margaret Stevermer, age 87, of Ames, died at her home on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, in Ames. A gathering visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, a Vigil Service followed on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, in Ames. A mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, in Ames. Burial took place at Ames Municipal Cemetery.
