Jeffrey P. Cooper, 61

Lake City – Jeffrey P. Cooper, age 61, of Lake City, passed away at his home on Dec. 12, 2023. Jeff was born in Fairmont, to Albert and Beverly (DeMarce) Cooper on Dec. 4, 1962. He graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1982 and attended Mankato Technical College. Jeff worked in the culinary industry for over 40 years, most recently at the Lake City Nursing Home. Jeff had a true passion for his work and served as a proud union steward for UFCW1189. He enjoyed baking cakes for friends, relaxing beside beautiful Lake Pepin, fishing, supporting patriotic causes, watching classic action flicks, singing along to Barry Manilow and treating friends and family to lunch. He was a courageous prolife advocate and supporter as well. Jeff will also be remembered for his good sense of humor and big heart.

Left to cherish his memory include siblings, Joanne Woodwick, Jim Cooper, Jane Guessfeld, Judy Vano and Jeannie and Janet Cooper. He will be fondly remembered by many coworkers and friends as well.

Jeff was laid to rest along side his parents and twin sister, Jacqueline (Jackie) in a Christian burial ceremony at Calvary Cemetery in Blue Earth on Dec. 27, 2023.
