Benito C. Briseno, 88

Elmore – Benito Casas Briseno, age 88, of Elmore passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Benito was born on April 16, 1935 in Mexico to Juan and Ramona (Castoreno) Briseno. He was a hard worker and worked in the construction industry in St. Paul, as a machinery operator. Even though he was handicapped, he never let that hold him back from accomplishing anything and everything he wanted to do. On July 31, 1952, Benito married the love of his life, Lucy.

Benito was a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, godfather, and foster dad. No matter what role he played, he left a big impact in everyone’s lives. He had a big heart and was always willing to help others.

Left to cherish his memory are his five children, Yolanda (Tim) Long, Benito Briseno Jr., Paula (Tim) Stevens, Ramon Briseno, and Raquel (Brendon) McMellis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four sisters, and one brother.
