Diana L. R. Johnson, 75
Blue Earth – Diana Lee Rae Johnson, age 75, of Blue Earth, Minnesota, passed away Dec. 15, 2024, at United Hospital District in Blue Earth, surrounded by her family.
Memorial service was held at Patton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of the arrangements.
Diana was born March 16, 1949, to Forrest and Pearl (Nelson) Roscoe in Madison, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Blue Earth in 1949. She attended school in Blue Earth, and graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1967. She attended church at St. Paul Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.
Diana was united in marriage to Marv Johnson in South Dakota. They made their home in Blue Earth. Marv passed away in 1999.
Diana was a lifelong resident of Blue Earth. She worked at Telex for 30 years, was an avid and talented bowler and enjoyed bowling for many years. She also enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Diana was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Diana is survived by her brothers: Wesley Roscoe and Jerry Roscoe, both of Madison, Wisconsin, and Bernie (Bea) Roscoe of St. Peter; sisters: Roberta (Jon) Rippentrop and Donna Bussinger, both of Blue Earth; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest Roscoe and Pearl Wiltse; step-father, Maurice; husband, Marv Johnson; and sister, Sandi Herrig.
