Dale H. Foster, 85

Winnebago – Dale Harvey Foster passed away Dec. 31, 2024 at UHD Hospital in Blue Earth, MN at the age of 85.

Dale was born to Fred and Celissa Foster on Aug. 19, 1939 in Waseca, MN. He attended and graduated from Winnebago High School in 1957. After graduation Dale served his country in the United States Army for over a year until returning home to help his father farm. On June 18, 1960 Dale married Ardis Riley and together they made their home in Winnebago and raised their three sons.

Dale worked for various trucking companies throughout his life and owned and operated B & B Sanitation for 31 years until his retirement in 2016. Dale was known best for his kindness, generosity, and his devotion to his family. His shop was a gathering place for many throughout the years. Some might say more hours of socializing took place than actual work was done.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 64 years, Ardis; his son, Scott (Lori) Foster; grandsons, Derek (Ashleigh) Foster, Ryan (Whitney) Foster; great-grandchildren, Luke, Karter, Blakely, Kynlee and Kennedy; daughter-in-law, Karen Foster; grandsons, Curtis Foster, Christopher Foster; and his sister, Dee Ann (Rick) Crosby. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Terry Foster and Gary Foster; and parent-in-laws, Stanley and Lois Riley.

A Celebration of Dale’s life is being planned for a later date.
