Robert Thompson, 88

Robert Thompson, 88, was born on Jan. 13, 1936 in Faribault County, MN. He passed away on Jan. 3, 2025.

Robert is survived by his son, Michael (Donna)Thompson and daughter, Kayla Thompson (Robert Vigil); five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Robert grew up on a farm by Bricelyn, the oldest of four children, with siblings, Verlyn, Sharon and Leroy.

Robert met his wife Joyce Lee Jensen in Blue Earth and was married on Nov. 2, 1957 in Reno Nevada. Robert was in the Air Force at this time. He was honorably discharged in 1960.

His two children were born in Blue Earth. The family moved to Wells for 10 years and then to Excelsior. After the children graduated they relocated to Dalhart, Texas, then Guyman Oklahoma and Littleton, Colorado. Then they moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico and lived with their daughter until their passing.
