Winnebago – Matthew James Holbrook “Matt,” age 34, of Winnebago, MN, unexpectedly passed away on April 5, 2025.

Matt was born on Nov. 8, 1990 to Donald and Bonnie (Hansen) Holbrook in Mankato.

Matt was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt, four wheel, watch sports, and spend time with his family.

Matt was survived by friend, Ashley Schluter; his mother, Bonnie Holbrook; brother, Jackson (Krystal Bracken) Holbrook; nieces, Aaliyah, Karmen, nephews, Jordan, Jackson Jr., Jason, Blake; his grandmother, Eva Hansen; many aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Donald Holbrook; uncle, Tim

Hansen; cousin, John Butzer III; best friend, Joe Anderson; and puppy, Darla.

A celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at the Floyd Robert’s Jr. Building, Land of Memories, 100 Amos Owen Lane, Mankato MN.
