Ardie Foster, 83

Winnebago/Amboy – Ardie Foster, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Jan. 24, 2026.

Ardie was born on July 4, 1942, to Stanley and Lois Riley in Winnebago. She was raised in the Amboy area, where she attended and graduated from Amboy High School. She married the love of her life, Dale Foster, and together they raised three sons: Terry, Gary, and Scott.

Ardie was best known for her signature blonde updo and her beautiful smile. She found joy in shopping, decorating her home, and listening to Dale’s stories. Above all else, family meant everything to her.

Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandsons and her five beautiful great-grandchildren. For the past ten years, they were the highlight of her life and never failed to bring a smile to her face.

Ardie is now reunited with her beloved husband, Dale, and her sons, Terry and Gary, and her parents

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Scott, and his wife, Lori; their family: Derek (Ashleigh), Luke, Karter, Blakely, Ryan (Whitney), Kynlee, and Kennedy; and Gary’s family: Karen, Curt, and Christopher.

A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to UHD Hospice in Blue Earth or Parker Oaks Senior Living in Winnebago.
