Harold E. Brooks, 78

Harold Eugene Brooks passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2026 at the age of 78.

Harold was born in Blue Earth, MN and graduated from Frost High School in 1966. He was a private man who marched to the beat of his own drum. However, his love for those close to him was undeniable; he expressed his devotion quietly, without fanfare, and was always the person you could count on to be there when it truly mattered. He lived his life on his own terms as a proud brother and loyal uncle.

A dedicated worker, Harold spent his entire career at Riverside Town and Country Club until his retirement in 2010. Outside of that he found joy in helping local farmers during the planting and harvest season. He also looked forward to his trips to Diamond Jo Casino to test his poker skills.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Florence; sister, Arlene; brother, John; and infant brother, Lawrence. He is survived by his three brothers; as well as his nieces and nephews who will deeply miss his presence and quiet kindness.

A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 24, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at Riverside Town and Country Club for all who wish to honor his memory. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
