Arline F. Perrizo, 93

Huntington Beach, Calif. A Memorial Service was held for Arline Perrizo on May 28, 2013, at Queen of Heaven Mortuary.

Arline Fae Perrizo was born on May 22, 1919, in Delavan. She was the daughter of George and Maude Rendall. She attended school in Blue Earth and moved with her family to Delavan in 1934, graduating from Delavan High School in 1937. She was a graduate of Mankato State Teachers College and taught school in Walters, Walnut Grove, Huntley and Fulda. She taught in Downey, Calif., for 21 years, where she was named outstanding teacher of the year in 1973. She wed Wayne Perrizo on June 7, 1941. The family moved to California in 1949, and lived in Downey. Arline later lived in Huntington Beach where she passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013, two days before her 94th birthday.

She is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Mary Jo), of Accokeek, Md., and Mark (Carol), of Irvine, Calif.; three daughters, Katherine (Emilio) Fontana, of Ojai, Calif., Mary (Robert) Kennedy, of Huntington Beach, and Julie (Michael) Johnson, of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley Rendall; and sister, Shirley (Donald) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her parents; three brothers, Glenn, Glade, and Maurice; and one sister, Marilyn.
