1. All commissioners were present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.

2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of the July 1, 2008 regular meeting and June 16, 2008 Board of Equalization.

3. Approved agenda of July 15, 2008.

4. Approved the following SSTS loans: $4,321.21 to Kevin & DeAnn Sletten on Parcel No. 05.027.0400 in Delavan Township and $11,731.80 to Donald Becker on Parcel No. 13.032.0405 in Minnesota Lake Township.

5. A feedlot notification hearing was held for a feedlot proposed by Charles Carlson in Section 4 of Winnebago City Township. Charles Carlson attended. No member of the public appeared to make comment.

6. Approved a bid from M&K Bridge Construction Inc. of Walnut Grove, MN on SAP 22-631-008 of $249,477. Other bids received were $302,173 from Duininck Brothers and $304,460 from Minnowa Construction.

7. Accepted a quote from Mills Distributing of Brandon SD for de-icing salt at $68.00 per ton with an estimated cost of $27,200.00. Other quotes were received from Independent Salt Company of Kanopolis KS at $74.00 per ton, Morton International, Inc. of Chicago at $83.33 per ton, and North American Salt Inc. of Overland Park KS at $82.25 per ton.

8. Approved a letter of agreement to develop a plan for the construction of a 330 foot self supporting tower at the Law Enforcement Center between Faribault County and Minnesota Department of Transportation.

9. Approved payment of Prairieland bills totaling $120,663.11.

10. Approved requests from S. Cory to attend a two-day Crystal Reports training in Mankato and from J. McDonald to attend a two-day road dust management conference in San Antonio TX.

11. Approved a 60 day extension until September 23, 2008 on a conditional use permit application in section 16 of Brush Creek Township of FC Cooperative Company per applicant’s request. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Steier, and Warmka voted yes. Commissioner Erichsrud voted no.

12. Approved additional spending on CD3 over the $15,000 limit.

13. Approved payment of bills totaling $1,175,437.90.

2. M. Stindtman and B. Blakesley met regarding soil and water business.

3. M. Baumann met regarding Prairieland business.
