That the original principal amount secured by said mortgage was $155,750.00; that there has been compliance with any condition precedent to acceleration of the debt secured by said mortgage and foreclosure of said mortgage required by said mortgage, any note secured thereby, or any statute; that no action or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt remaining secured by said mortgage, or any part thereof; that there is claimed to be due upon said mortgage and is due thereon at the date of this notice, the sum of $158,680.31 in principal and interest.

1. All members were present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.

2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of January 5, 2010.

3. Approved agenda of January 19, 2010.

4. Approved contracts between Faribault County and the cities of Frost, Bricelyn, Walters, Delavan, Easton, Minnesota Lake and Kiester for station libraries.

5. Approved contracts with the cities of Blue Earth, Winnebago, and Wells to provide station library services to station libraries.

6. Approved purchase of a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan for Veteran Services using the 2002 Ford Econoline van as a trade-in, selling the 2005 Grand Caravan to the county for $6,500, and the remainder of the cost covered by donations from Veteran organizations in the county.

7. Accepted resignation of Bryan Schultz as Veteran Services Officer effective March 31, 2010.

8. Accepted the following bids: $11,856 (including trade in of 2007 F150) for a 2010 F150 from Fairmont Ford of Fairmont with one other bid received from Hinkley Chevrolet of Wells for $17,990; $22,489.32 for a 2010 Dodge Charger from Nelson Auto Center of Fergus Falls (state contract) with one other bid received from Militello Motors of Fairmont for $25,156; and $20,644.82 for a 2010 Chevy Impala from Perkins Inc. of Fergus Falls (state contract) with one other bid received from Hinkley Chevrolet of Wells for $24,490.

9. Approved change order on the law enforcement center.

10. Appointed Commissioner Warmka to the interview committee for the Resource Conservation Technician position at Soil and Water.

11. Approved 2010 solid waste licenses for Trash Man of Webster City, IA and Waste Management.

12. Appointed the following: Ross Kempf and Loren Lein of Blue Earth to the Blue Earth Airport Board; Jim Hassing of Wells, John Eilertson of Kiester, and Charles Johnson of Wells to three year terms on the Planning Commission; Jim Hassing of Wells to a three year term on the Board of Adjustment; Craig Beyer of Bricelyn and Carmen Klatt of Blue Earth to three year terms on the Extension Committee.

13. Approved payment of bills totaling $219,695.5.

Discussion was held concerning the following:

1. County Library Service board member Mary Bielke, County Library Services Director Pauline Siem, and Traverse Des Sioux Regional Library Board Executive Director Dale Zelenka met regarding library services.

2. B. Schultz met regarding veteran services business.

3. M. Gormley and S. Adams met regarding sheriff business.

4. D. Hanson met regarding public works business.

5. M. Stindtman met regarding soil and water business.

6. B. Rabbe met regarding solid waste licenses.
