Sealed bids for the Repair of Judicial Ditch No. 2 M&F, Martin and Faribault Counties, Minnesota will be received until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at the office of the County Drainage Administrator in the Martin County Court House, 201 Lake Avenue, Fairmont, Minnesota, 56031, and publicly opened and read in the commissioner’s room, 201 Lake Avenue, Fairmont, Minnesota for the contract for Repair of Judicial Ditch No. 2 M&F, Martin and Faribault Counties, Minnesota. The County Ditch Authority will consider said bids at 8:50 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012, in the commissioner’s room at the Martin County Court House, 201 Lake Avenue, Fairmont, Minnesota, 56031.
The job is located just south of Interstate Highway 90, just west of the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota, and is split by the Martin County and Faribault County line.

Bids are invited for the complete job. Bids must be submitted on the form provided. The project will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest bid. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond payable to Martin County c/o County Drainage Administrator, or a cash deposit for at least 5% of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into an agreement with the County and furnish a performance and payment bond for the full amount of the contract along with a certificate of insurance within 15 days after notification of award of the contract.
The County reserves the right to hold the bids and bid securities of the two lowest bidders for 90 days after the bid opening and to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
The Contractor must guarantee the tile work under the contract for three years after its completion against any fault or negligence on the part of the contractor per MN Statute 103E.501 Subd. 6. The work is to be done according to the plans and specifications as prepared by I&S Group, Inc., Mankato, Minnesota; and on file at the office of the County Drainage Administrator.

NOTICE OF HEARING
FOR CONDITIONAL USE
REQUEST
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room of the Faribault County Ag. Center, Blue Earth, Minnesota, the Faribault County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the application of Laurence P. Blaine for a Conditional Use Permit. Applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit to have a hobby kennel with no more than 12 adult canines.
The proposed project is located in the A-1 Shoreland Agriculture District located on a tract of land in the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4), Section Thirteen (13), Township One Hundred Three (103) North, Range Twenty-eight (28) West, Verona Township, Faribault County, Minnesota.
All persons interested are invited to attend said hearing and be heard on this matter.
