The Joint County Authority Board of Commissioners acting as the Joint County Drainage Authority will be meeting Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., Faribault County Ag Center Meeting Room, 415 S. Grove St., in Blue Earth MN. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a pump to be constructed along 60th Street connecting to the JD #314- 14 inch tile. The pump will daylight into Section 11, East Chain Township (Hannaman property) south of 60th Street.

The property has been tested and contains asbestos to be abated by licensed contractor. RFP’s will be taken until February 20, 2013 at City Hall, 125 W. Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s Will, dated June 26, 1996, and codicils to the will, dated September 19, 2001, (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Raymond Oswald, whose address is P.O. Box 565, Frost, MN 56033, as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

Request for Proposals:

The City of Blue Earth is seeking quotes for the removal of a residential home, basement and foundation located at 914 E. First Street in Blue Earth. The property has been the location of an extensive fire and all materials must be handled as containing asbestos. With asbestos materials a licensed abatement contractor must be on sight for the demolition. Abatement contractor license and insurance must be presented before demolition begins. Proposals will be taken until February 20, 2013, at City Hall, 125 W. Sixth St., Blue Earth, MN 56013 (507) 526-7336 The City reserves the right to decline any and all proposals.
