ear was 10.5% for the staff. The Board watched a video that was put together by Zach Huntley for Child Abuse Prevention month which was very well done.

Committee Reports: A report was given by the entire Board on how well the planning sessions were going that are being conducted by the South Central Cooperative.

Principal Reports:

Cue reported that the move to the recently renovated K-8 office space has been made and that the next month will be full of testing. He also stated that May 8th will be the annual service learning day. Principal Schneider shared that April 28th will be the “Mock Crash” at the High School to remind those kids of the dangers of bad decisions and the realities of accidents. The Kindergarten round-up information and numbers were shared by Principal McGuire and they look identical to last years incoming numbers which is good news.

Other Reports:

The Robotics team was on hand to give us a live demonstration of their Robot and answer any questions. This group is in their second year of competition and continue to grow and get creative. Thank-You to Shane and Laura Becker for coaching this group. Jennie Esser was present to talk about the LEAP Program and give an overview of things that were done this past year and ways to improve next year.

Action Items:

On an Eckhardt/Cahill motion the Board approved a shared services agreement with the Maple River School District for the shared services of Community Education Director Dar Holmseth. This arrangement worked out very well last year.

The Board agreed to start negotiations with the certified staff on a Hanson/Maher motion.

The Board approved a tentative calendar for the 2014-2015 school year with the start and end dates as well as vacation dates. The rest of the calendar will fill in later. Haugh/Fellows motion. Unanimously carried.

Personnel:

On a Maher/Eckhardt motion the Board granted Medical Leave to:

Sara Duden- Elementary teacher

Glenda Hoffman- Title I Teacher

The Board approved a service agreement with Dale Brandsoy to work at YSI in Elmore with the Educational Programs. Cahill/ Hanson motion

On a Cahill/Haugh motion, the board was dismissed at 7:48pm
