FOR BIDS

A. From: Kraus-Anderson Construction Company acting on behalf of United South Central Public Schools ISD #2134.

B. Project: United South Central Schools Existing Building Demolition.

C. Key Dates:

1. Bid Due Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 2:00 pm local time.

2. Mandatory Prebid Walkthrough: Thursday February 26, 12:00pm local time.

3. Schedule: 10 week total duration from start with substantial completion no later than October 30, 2015.

D. Method of Delivery: Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has been selected as an Agency Construction Manager by United South Central Public Schools to administer the demolition of the Existing USC K-12 School in Wells, MN.

1. The overall project consists of the complete demolition and reclamation of the existing 160,000 SF K-12 School.

2. The work will be constructed in one (1) phase in accordance with the Project Schedule.

E. Work Included in this Offering: We are presently soliciting competitive “Prime Contract Bids” for the following portions of work as defined herein.

1. All portions of the Work as defined in Section 01 1200 including, but not limited to, Demolition of the existing USC K-12 building not including Asbestos Abatement.

F. Bid Date and Location: Sealed bids will be received at United South Central Public Schools, 600 11th Street SW, Wells, MN 56097, then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm local time, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.

G. Bid Security: Each bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in form of certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in amount of five (5) percent of Base Bid submitted, made payable to Owner, as guarantee that Bidder will, if awarded, enter into Contract in accordance with Contract Documents and submitted Bid.
