NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing at a special meeting of the Council beginning at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, July 20, 2015, to be held at the Blue Earth City Hall, 125 West 6th Street, Blue Earth, Minnesota, on the proposal that the City abate property taxes levied by the City on the property identified as tax parcel numbers:

The total amount of the taxes proposed to be abated by the City on the property for up to a 15-year period is estimated to be not more than $1,950,000. The City Council will consider the property tax abatement to finance public improvements in the North Business Park (the “Project”),.
The City proposes to issue General Obligation Bonds, a portion of which will be issued to finance the Project, such “abatement portion” will be in an amount not to exceed $1,950,000.
All interested persons may appear at the July 20, 2015 public hearing and present their views orally or in writing.
