Notice is hereby given, that a proceeding has been commenced by the Drainage Authority of County Ditch #62 Faribault County, Minnesota, for the redetermination of benefits and damages and benefited areas and damaged areas of County Ditch #62 and its various laterals, extensions and improvements.
That the proceeding is pending.
That the viewers appointed herein have made and filed their report in the office of the Faribault County Auditor-Treasurer in Blue Earth, Minnesota.
That the following is a brief description of the lands drained by County Ditch#62 and by its main tile, various laterals, extensions and tile systems. Said system drains all or part of the following townships; Sections 19,20,21,29 and 30 in Prescott Township along with roads therein.

Notice is hereby given, that the petition for the improvement of County Ditch #62 Faribault County, is pending before the Faribault County Board of Commissioners acting as Drainage Authority for County Ditch #62. ORDINANCE NO. 15-08
CITY OF BLUE EARTH
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SUBSECTION 720.02, SUBD. 3 OF THE BLUE EARTH CITY CODE RELATING TO SEWER SERVICES AND REGULATIONS ON DISCONNECTING WATER SERVICE FOR NON-COMPLIANCE
The City Council of the City of Blue Earth does ordain as follows:
SECTION I.
That Subsection 720.02, Subd. 3 is hereby amended by the addition of the following subparts:
F. Inspections: After January 1, 2011, every property owner that owns improved property within the City which is connected to the City’s sanitary sewer system shall within 30 days after written notice from the City allow a representative of the City to inspect both the inside and outside of buildings located on his or her improved property to confirm that there is no prohibited discharge into the municipal sanitary sewer system.
G. Certificate of Compliance: In lieu of an inspection by the City, a property owner can furnish to the City a Certificate of Compliance from a licensed plumber on an approved City form certifying that the property has no prohibited discharge into the City sanitary sewer system in cases of new construction and/or remodel work.
H. Failure to Pay Monthly Surcharge. If the improved real property owner fails to pay the monthly surcharge for failure to disconnect an illegal sanitary sewer system connection or failure to allow an inspection by the City, then the City may suspend both water and sewer service after 15 days notice of intent to do so for failure to pay said surcharge.
I. Waiver of Requirements. The City Council may, by resolution, provide for the waiver by reason of hardship from the requirements of this Subdivision.
SECTION II.
All other provisions of Subsection 720.02, Subd. 3 shall remain in full force and effect upon passage of this amending ordinance.
SECTION III.
This Ordinance shall not be effective until thirty (30) days after its passage and publication.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK
FEEDLOT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, that Maple Valley Pork Inc., has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency or the County of Faribault for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.
The existing and/or proposed feedlot will be located in the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4, Section 2, Lura Township 104 Range R26W, Minnesota. The existing facility consists of 2312 swine over 300 pounds (924 A.U.) and 80 swine between 55-300 (24 A.U.); All Buildings are total confinement; manure storage consists of concrete holding areas and earthen basin lagoon. The proposed facility consists of a total confinement Farrowing barn for swine that will house 108 sows and piglets/43 A.U. A total confinement Gilt Developer barn that will house 600 gilts from 55-300 pounds/180 A.U. The manure storage area will be engineered concrete construction, Farrowing barn 65x136x10, Gilt Developer 61x136x10. The facility is proposing to construct two total confinement barns for swine with below, barn reinforced concrete pits for manure storage. The total animal unit capacity after construction will be 1171 A.U.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
