Sealed Prime General Contract bids for Faribault County Courthouse Exterior Restoration will be received by the Owner at the Faribault County Courthouse, 415 N. Main Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013 by mail or personal delivery until Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at which date and time the bids will be opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faribault County Courthouse 415 N. Main Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013.
Project Scope: Selective demolition and construction of masonry restoration and other related Work indicated in the drawings and specifications.
Bidders shall submit their proposal on the forms provided. Proposal shall be filled in clearly and correctly with ink or other permanent format. Proposal shall be signed in ink by the individual, members of the partnership, or by one or more officers of the corporation making the proposal.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of ISG at 1415 Town Square Lane, Faribault, Minnesota 55021, telephone 507-331-1500 for a non-refundable fee of $ 75.00 each. For Documents that must be mailed, the total plan fee will be $ 90.00 each, shipping and handling included. When requesting mailed documents, please include your address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. Make checks payable to ISG.
Drawings, specifications, and other Bidding Documents may also be obtained online at www.questcdn.com. All bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope upon which shall be plainly marked “BID ON FARIBAULT COUNTY COURTHOUSE EXTERIOR RESTORATION BLUE EARTH, MINNESOTA” and the name of the bidder. If a bid is to be mailed, the bid envelope shall be sealed in a regular mailing envelope. FAX and E-mail Bids will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to hold and consider the bids for 30 days after the date of the bid opening. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, bidder’s bond, or certified check payable to FARIBAULT COUNTY for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid including add-alternates. A bidder’s bond shall include certified copy of the power of attorney.
The right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any or all bids is reserved to the Owner.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Commissioners of the Faribault County sitting as the drainage authority for CD#41 will hold a final hearing on the redetermination of benefits, the viewers’ report of benefits and damages for the redetermination of benefits on County Ditch #41, and the Engineers Repair Report for the Petition for Repair of County Ditch #41. The engineer’s and viewers’ reports were filed with the drainage authority on February 22, 2017 and are available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main, Blue Earth, MN or online at www.co.faribault.mn.us. The hearing shall be held at 1:00 p.m. on March 29, 2017, at Hamilton Hall, 209 S Main St, Blue Earth, MN. The watershed includes all or portions of section 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 in Hebron Township, Iowa. Expenditures to repair County Ditch #41 are covered by an agreement between Faribault County and Kossuth County. The redetermination of benefits includes the entire CD #41 watershed within Faribault County. The repair project includes the cleaning of the open channel of CD#41 from its outlet in section 29 of Elmore Township to its starting point in section 36 of Elmore Township.

Notice is given that Kathy L. Fisk, residing at 81 Westview Drive, Milford, IA 51351 is the domiciliary foreign Personal Representative (“Personal Representative”) for the estate of James Meinders, a resident of the State of Iowa.
On February 10, 2017, the Personal Representative filed with the Court a document stating an intention to exercise, as to assets in Minnesota, all powers of a local Personal Representative and to maintain actions and proceedings in Minnesota in accordance with Minn. Stat. 524.4-205.

In the matter of the Redetermination of Benefits of County Ditch #70;
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Commissioners of the Faribault County sitting as the drainage authority for CD#70 will hold a final hearing on the redetermination of benefits of CD#70. The viewers’ reports were filed with the drainage authority on February 27, 2017 and are available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main, Blue Earth, MN or online at www.co.faribault.mn.us. The hearing shall be held at 2:30 p.m. on March 29, 2017, at Hamilton Hall, 209 S Main St, Blue Earth, MN. At the final hearing, the drainage authority will accept public comment regarding the viewers’ reports for the redetermination of benefits. The City Council of the City of Blue Earth do ordain as follows:
SECTION I
That the City of Blue Earth is the fee owner of certain real property located in the City of Blue Earth and legally described as follows:
Lot Six (6) in Block Eight (8) of Young’s Addition to the City of Blue Earth, Faribault County, Minnesota.
SECTION II
Todd Schmidtke and Stacy Schmidtke are desirous of purchasing property in Section I above and the City of Blue Earth is desirous of transferring such property for a price of $1.00 and other valuable consideration.
SECTION III
Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 412.211, the City of Blue Earth is hereby authorized to sell and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to convey the property described in Section I of this ordinance to the purchaser upon payment of the purchase price.
SECTION IV
This Ordinance shall not be effective until thirty (30) days after its passage and publication.
