The City of Blue Earth is seeking competitive bids for the construction of a 6,656 SF Structural Insulated Panel System (SIPS) Building along with sitework to be used as a Public Works Garage. The building includes SIPS wall panels, poured concrete footing and foundation walls, pre-engineered wood roof trusses, metal roofing and siding, vinyl windows, metal liner panels, concrete floors, and all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing illustrated on the plans and is to be built at the intersection of 8th Street East and Sailor Street on a City owned lot.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm CST on Tuesday February 13th, 2018 at the council chambers City Hall office, located at 125 W. 6th Street in Blue Earth, MN. Late bids will not be opened or received. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and labeled, “Blue Earth Public Works Garage Bid.” No faxed or email bids will be accepted. All bids will be publicly read aloud at the close of the bid.

Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the total Bid Amount. This Bid Bond must accompany the bids that are delivered in a sealed envelop at the time of bidding.

Bid Documents for a “Single Prime”- Stipulated Sum contract may be downloaded from Quest CDN at www.questcdn.com, ebid project number 5496764. They also may be obtained from the office of the Architect, Brunton Architects & Engineers upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, by cash, in the amount of $250 for one set of plans and specifications.

Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s Will, dated September 8, 2003, (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Arniss K. Ristau, whose address is 41552 40th St., Box 173, Elmore, Minnesota 56027, as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee, or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.
