The City of Blue Earth is accepting quotes for the Airport Farm Lease Tract 1 & 2. A copy of the current lease is available at City Hall or by contacting City Hall at 507-526-7336 or www.becity.org.
This year’s bids will be accepted for a three-year lease option. The Airport Commission and the City Council reserves the right to evaluate all quotes and accept or reject any or all.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK
FEEDLOT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, and Faribault County’s feedlot ordinance, that Larry Twedt has made an application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency /County of Faribault for a permit to build a new feedlot.
The new feedlot will be in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 in Section 25 Jo Daviess Township, Faribault County, Minnesota. The new facility will be 122’7″ by 220′ and will hold 3280 head of wean to finish pigs from 12 pounds to 275 pounds for a total of 984 animal units or 1,312 Faribault county animal units. The proposed new barn will be a 122’7″ x 220′ total confinement facility with an 8′ deep below barn manure pit for 12 months of storage. The total number of animal units on this site after building the new barn will be 984.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot, as required by Minnesota State Law.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT FOR DEED
NOTICE TO: The Estate of Mark Frahm, and also the
unknown heirs of The Estate of Mark Frahm, and all other persons unknown claiming any right, title, estate, interest or lien in the real estate
described in the Notice herein.
YOU ARE NOTIFIED:
1. Default has occurred in the Contract for Deed (“Contract”) dated December 28, 2016, and filed for record January 26, 2017, as Document Number 373686, in the Office of the County Recorder of Faribault County, Minnesota in which Bruce A. Krosch and Julie A. Krosch, as Sellers, sold to Mark A. Frahm, as Purchaser, the real property in Faribault County, Minnesota, described as follows:
A tract commencing 67 1/3 feet South of the Northeast corner of Block Ninety-five (95) as designated upon the recorded plat of Blue Earth City (now City of Blue Earth), Faribault County, Minnesota, running thence South 27 1/3 feet; thence West 120 feet, thence North 27 1/3 feet and thence East 120 feet to the point of beginning, being the South 1/3 feet of the middle 1/3 of Lots One (1) and Two (2) in said Block Ninety-five (95).
Also the South 2 1/2 feet of the following described tract: A tract commencing 45 5/6 feet South of the Northeast corner of Lot One (1) in Block Ninety-five (95) as designated upon the recorded plat of Blue Earth City (now City of Blue Earth), Faribault County, Minnesota, running thence West 120 feet, thence South 21 1/2 feet, thence East 120 feet and thence North 21 1/2 feet to point of beginning. Said tract being located on Lots One (1) and Two (2) in said Block Ninety-five (95) aforesaid.
2. The default is as follows: Purchaser is delinquent in monthly principal and interest payments, real estate taxes and property insurance totaling $2,824.20.
1. The conditions contained in Minnesota Statutes 559.209 have been complied with or are not applicable.
2. THIS NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT BY THIS NOTICE THE SELLER HAS BEGUN PROCEEDINGS UNDER MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTION 559.21, TO TERMINATE YOUR CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF YOUR PROPERTY FOR THE REASONS SPECIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. THE CONTRACT WILL TERMINATE 90 DAYS AFTER THE FIRST DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, UNLESS BEFORE THEN:
(A) THE PERSON AUTHORIZED IN THIS NOTICE TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS RECEIVES FROM YOU:
(1) THE AMOUNT THIS NOTICE SAYS YOU OWE; PLUS
(2) THE COSTS OF SERVICE (TO BE SENT TO YOU); PLUS
(1) $500 TO APPLY TO ATTORNEYS’ FEES ACTUALLY EXPENDED OR INCURRED; PLUS
(2) FOR CONTRACTS EXECUTED ON OR AFTER MAY 1, 1980, ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS BECOMING DUE UNDER THE CONTRACT TO THE SELLER AFTER THIS NOTICE WAS SERVED ON YOU; PLUS
(3) FOR CONTRACTS, OTHER THAN EARNEST MONEY CONTRACTS, PURCHASE AGREEMENTS, AND EXERCISED OPTIONS, EXECUTED ON OR AFTER AUGUST 1, 1985, $56.48 (WHICH IS TWO PERCENT OF THE AMOUNT IN DEFAULT AT THE TIME OF SERVICE OTHER THAN THE FINAL BALLOON PAYMENT, ANY TAXES, ASSESSMENTS, MORTGAGES, OR PRIOR CONTRACTS THAT ARE ASSUMED BY YOU); OR
(A) YOU SECURE FROM A COUNTY OR DISTRICT COURT AN ORDER THAT THE TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT BE SUSPENDED UNTIL YOUR CLAIMS OR DEFENSES ARE FINALLY DISPOSED OF BY TRIAL, HEARING OR SETTLEMENT. YOUR ACTION MUST SPECIFICALLY STATE THOSE FACTS AND GROUNDS THAT DEMONSTRATE YOUR CLAIMS OR DEFENSES.
IF YOU DO NOT DO ONE OR THE OTHER OF THE ABOVE THINGS WITHIN THE TIME PERIOD SPECIFIED IN THIS NOTICE, YOUR CONTRACT WILL TERMINATE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE MONEY YOU HAVE PAID ON THE CONTRACT; YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY; YOU MAY LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO ASSERT ANY CLAIMS OR DEFENSES THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE; AND YOU WILL BE EVICTED.
