The regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Blue Earth Area, I.S.D. #2860 was held on Monday, December 9, 2019, in Blue Earth, MN.

Present were School Board members: S. Hauskins, F. Bly, S. Beyer, S. Rosenau, K. Zierke, J. Eckles and S. Benz. Also Attending were Supt. Fletcher, principals, members of the press, staff and public.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Benz. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

On a Beyer/Zierke motion, the agenda was approved. 7-0 vote.

District Report: SEL Lunch Program HS student input

On a Hauskins/Zierke motion, the meeting was adjourned for Truth in taxation. 7-0 vote.

Meeting adjourned at 6:12 p.m.

At 6:25 p.m., the meeting was called back to order.

On a Bly/Eckles motion, the November 14th board meeting minutes were approved. 7-0 vote.

The Board approved the payment of bills and wire transfers totaling $1,245,459.75 on a Beyer/Hauskins motion. 7-0 vote.

Action Items:

On a Beyer/Rosenau motion, the board approved the 2018-19 Audit Report. CliftonLarsonAllen conducted audit and stated clean. 7-0 vote

On a Bly/Hauskins motion, the board approved the Final 2019 Payable 2020 Property Tax Levy Resolution. All voting in favor were members Bly, Beyer, Rosenau, Benz, Hauskins, Zierke, and Eckles.

Those voting against were none.

On a Beyer/Zierke motion, the Board approved the Non-certified Seniority List for 2019-20. 7-0 vote.

On a Hauskins/Beyer motion, the Board approved the Certified Seniority List for 2019-20. 7-0 vote.

On a Bly/Zierke motion, the Board approved the World’s Best Workforce Summary Report . 7-0 vote.

On a Zierke/Beyer motion, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. 7-0 vote.
