NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that default has occurred in the conditions of that certain Mortgage dated May 12, 2017, executed by Christopher C. Gack aka Chris Gack, and Amy M. Gack aka Amy Gack, as mortgagor, to NW Preferred Federal Credit Union, as mortgagee, filed with the Office of County Recorder of Faribault, Minnesota, on May 16, 2017, as Document No. 374616, and encumbering real property located in Faribault County, Minnesota.
That no action or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt secured by said mortgage, or any part thereof; that there has been compliance with all notice provisions and conditions precedent as required by law; and that the name of the mortgagor who has been released from financial obligation on this mortgage is Christopher C. Gack aka Chris Gack, and Amy M. Gack aka Amy Gack; and that the mortgagee or assignee has elected to declare the entire sum secured by the note and mortgage to be immediately due and payable as provided in the note and mortgage;

Please be advised that the City Council of the City of Blue Earth and the Blue Earth Housing and Redevelopment Authority will be holding a joint public hearing for the purpose of the potential sale of and passage of an Ordinance authorizing the sale for the property located at 419 E. 2nd Street to Habitat for Humanity. The purpose of the sale is to address blighted property currently owned by the Blue Earth HRA. This public hearing is required by State law. The proposed Ordinance to be considered by the Blue Earth City Council after the public hearing is as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 20-01
CITY OF BLUE EARTH
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
OWNED BY THE CITY OF BLUE EARTH
The City Council of the City of Blue Earth do ordain as follows:
SECTION I
That the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Blue Earth owns certain real property located in the City of Blue Earth, County of Faribault and legally described as follows:
Lot Nine (9) in Block Twenty-two (22) as designated upon the Original Plat of Blue Earth City (now City of Blue Earth) on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds (now County Recorder) in the County of Faribault and State of Minnesota.
SECTION II
That Habitat for Humanity of Martin and Faribault County, Inc. is desirous of purchasing property in Section I above and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Blue Earth is desirous of selling such property for a sale price of $1.00.
SECTION III
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12, Section 12.02 of the City Charter of the City of Blue Earth, the City of Blue Earth is hereby authorized to sell and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Blue Earth is hereby authorized to sell the property described in Section I of this ordinance and the Mayor and City Administrator and the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority are hereby authorized to convey said real property to the purchaser upon payment of the purchase price.
