FINAL HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the drainage authority for County Ditch #83 will hold a final hearing on the redetermination of benefits and damages of County Ditch #83. The Viewers’ Report was filed with the drainage authority on February 3rd, 2021 and is available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main, Blue Earth, MN. The hearing shall be held at 9:00 a.m. on February 25th, 2021, at the Golden Bubble, 11575 State Highway 22 Wells, Minnesota 56097. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing is encouraged to be attended virtually via phone or computer, contact the Drainage Department at 507-526-2388 for information. At the final hearing, the drainage authority will accept public comment regarding the Viewers’ Report. Any party having an interest in the proceedings may appear and provide comment. Written comments will be accepted at the hearing and by mail through the date of the hearing at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, PO Box 130, Blue Earth, MN 56013.

FINAL HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the drainage authority for County Ditch #10 will hold a final hearing on the pending petition for lateral to County Ditch #10. The Final Engineer’s Report, and the viewers’ report of benefits and damages for County Ditch #10 proposed lateral were filed with the drainage authority November 13, 2020 and are available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main Street, Blue Earth, Minnesota. The hearing shall be held at 9:45 a.m. February 25th, 2021, at the Golden Bubble, 11575 State Highway 22 Wells, Minnesota 56097. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing is encouraged to be attended virtually via phone or computer, contact the Drainage Department at 507-526-2388 for information. At the final hearing, the drainage authority will accept public comment regarding the engineer’s and viewers’ reports. Any party having an interest in the proceedings may appear and provide comment. NOTICE TO CREDITORS

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on March 23, 2021, at 10:35 AM, a hearing will be held this Court at 415 N. Main St., Blue Earth, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, May 6, 2010, (“Will”), and for the appointment of Katherine A. Thofson, whose address is 532 1st Ave. SE, Wells, MN 56097 and Richard J. Winch, whose address is 640 7th St. SW, Wells, MN 56097 as Personal Representatives of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representatives will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate. This hearing will be held by Zoom. Contact the court for information on how to attend.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

4. Brad Bruegger of Wells met during public comment.

5. Hired Dalton Potter as part-time dispatch jailer in the Sheriff Department.

6. Granted the following 2021 solid waste hauling licenses: B&B Sanitation and Recycling of Winnebago, Hansen Sanitation, Inc. of Kasota, Hometown Sanitation of Windom, LJP Enterprises, Inc. of North Mankato, City of Minnesota Lake, Peterson Refuse & Demo of Wells, Thompson Sanitation of Clarks Grove, and Waste Management of Fairmont; and the following 2021 recycling licenses to B&B Sanitation and Recycling of Winnebago, Hometown Sanitation of Windom, LJP Enterprises, Inc. of North Mankato, Thompson Sanitation of Clarks Grove, and Waste Management of Fairmont.

14. Approved Resolution 21-CB-05 to levy 2021 ditch assessments as corrected. Commissioners Anderson, Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, and Young voted yes.

15. Motion failed to amend Carlson resolution removing a section and the addition of four paragraphs from Commissioner Loveall. Commissioner Loveall voted yes. Commissioners Anderson, Groskreutz, Roper, and Young voted no.

16. Approved Resolution 21-CB-06 supporting the rights of Faribault County citizens as expounded within the Constitution of the United States of America and the Minnesota State Constitution as amended. Commissioners Anderson, Loveall, and Young voted yes. Commissioners Groskreutz and Roper voted no.

17. Updated lease with the City of Blue Earth for Faribault County EDA office space in the Ag Center building reflecting a rent increase of 2.5% effective February 1, 2021 through January 31, 2022.

13. Approved upgrade to Law Enforcement Center HVAC server at a cost of $22,724.

14. Approved requests from C. Beaver to attend a 1-day Glock Armorer course in Algona IA.

15. Approved requests from J. Peterson and C. Davis to attend a 1-day virtual drone training.

16. Approved payment of $2500 dues to Rural Minnesota Energy Board for 2021.

17. Appointed Roper with Anderson as alternate to Rural Minnesota Energy Board.

18. Approved 5-year capital improvement plan and direct County Auditor to work with bond consultant PFM to increase the capital improvement bond amount from $3.5 million to $4 million. Groskreutz voted no.

19. Approved payment of bills totaling $6,138,776.21.
