NOTICE OF ROAD

ALTERATION HEARING

VERONA TOWNSHIP

FARIBAULT COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the town board of Verona Township, Faribault County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on the 14th day of June 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the East end of the new road described below to examine the road for the purposes of considering and acting upon its powers established in Minn. Stat. § 164.06, subd. 1 allowing a town board to initiate the town road establishment, vacation, or alteration procedure in Minn. Stat. § 164.07 without having to obtain the petition described in Minn. Stat. § 164.07, subd. 1 does hereby move to alter the following described road:

A 66 foot wide Township Road Easement over that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23 and the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 103 North, Range 28 West, Faribault County, Minnesota. The centerline of said easement is described as follows:

HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A

NEW FARIBAULT COUNTY FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE ORDINANCE

Please take notice that the Faribault County Board of Commissioners will meet in public hearing July 6, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. in the Commissioner’s Room, Faribault County Courthouse, Blue Earth, Minnesota to consider adoption of a new Faribault County Food and Beverage Service Ordinance.

The new Faribault County Food and Beverage Ordinance with replace in its entirety the existing Food and Beverage Service Ordinance that was adopted in 2014. The new Ordinance will provide consistency with the requirements of the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) by adopting Minnesota Rules Chapter 4626 (Minnesota Food Code) by reference. The general objectives of this Ordinance are as follows:

1. Prevent foodborne illness.

2. Provide a minimum standard for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Food and Beverage Establishments.

3. Correct and prevent conditions that may adversely affect persons utilizing Food and Beverage Establishments.

4. Meet consumer expectations for the quality and safety of Food and Beverage Establishments.

The aforementioned information provides only a summary of the Faribault County Food and Beverage Ordinance. A full text of the Ordinance is on file in the office of the County Auditor and at Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties. The Ordinance is available for public inspection during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
