It is Ordered and Notice is given that on October 12, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at 415 North Main St., Blue Earth, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Marlene S. Yauslin, whose address is 1206 Main St., Elgin, IA, 52141 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate. This hearing will be held by Zoom. Contact the court for instructions to appear.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

A Petition for Determination of Descent has been filed with this Court. The Petition represents that the Decedent died more than three years ago, leaving property in Minnesota and requests the probate of Decedent’s

last Will (if any), and the descent of such property be determined and assigned by this Court to the persons entitled to the property.

Any objections to the Petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper, and no objections are filed or raised, the Petition may be granted.

IT IS ORDERED and Notice is further given, that the Petition will be heard on October 26, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., by this Court at 415 North Main Street, Blue Earth, Minnesota. This hearing will be heard by Zoom.

Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s will dated March 27, 1989 (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Raymond Hornke whose address is 6315 350th Avenue, Blue Earth, MN 56013 as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

1. All members were present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.

2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of the August 17, 2021, regular and drainage authority meeting, and August 3, 2021, drainage authority meeting.

3. Amended and approved agenda of September 7, 2021.

4. Approved upgrade to Faribault County’s 911 system.

5. Approved Resolution 21-CB-83 authorizing annual Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) grant agreement. All voted yes.

6. Approved Resolution 21-CB-84 accepting donations made to the Veterans Services Office. All voted yes.

7. Approved request to establish a new part time position in the County Attorney’s Office.

8. Approved Resolution 21-CB-85 updating the Rural Minnesota Energy Board Joint Powers Agreement. All voted yes.

9. Approved Resolution 21-CB-86 approving the repurchase of tax forfeited Parcel No. 25.032.0390 by prior owner. All voted yes.

10. Approved Resolution 21-CB-87 approving the repurchase of tax forfeited Parcel No. 31.643.1810 by prior owner. All voted yes.

11. Set virtual tax forfeiture tour work session for 8:00 am September 21, 2021.

12. Approved training requests from S. Van Moer to attend a 2-day MCIT human resources conference in St. Cloud, L. Scholten to attend a 3-day MCHRMA fall conference in Deerwood, and S. Robbins to attend a 4-day MAAO fall conference in Breezy Point.

13. Approved payment of bills totaling $ 581,476.64.

Discussion was held concerning the following:

1. Quinn Slaven of Summit Carbon Solutions gave a presentation via Zoom.

2. M. Daly met regarding public works business.

The meeting was recessed to September 21, 2021.
