PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the drainage authority for Judicial Ditch #10 will hold a final hearing on the redetermination of benefits and damages of Judicial Ditch #10. The Viewers’ Report was filed with the drainage authority on October 1st, 2021, and is available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main, Blue Earth, MN. The City of Blue Earth is accepting proposals for contract snow plowing and deicing services at the AgCenter Building on an as needed basis. Interested individuals or firms are invited to submit a bid for this work.

The City of Blue Earth reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all proposals or to award multiple contracts as may be deemed in the best interest of the City.

Notice of hearing ordinance 150.02-2021 an ordinance regarding solar energy systems and related zoning standards

The City Council of the City of Winnebago will hold a public hearing for the purpose of discussing a proposed Ordinance regarding solar energy systems and related zoning standards. Addition of language regarding RVs and amending building and zoning regulations will also be discussed. Complete drafts of the proposed ordinances are available for review at City Hall at 140 S. Main St. in Winnebago during normal business hours.

Notice of Availability of the Draft Environmental

Assessment

for the 150th Street Road

Relocation Project

in Verona Township,

Faribault County, Minnesota

Environmental Assessment (EA) for the 150th Street Road Relocation Project (FEMA Disaster #DR-4442-MN, Project # 115472, PW 1429).

Interested persons are hereby notified that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)/Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is proposing to assist in the funding of a project located in Faribault County, Minnesota. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and the implementing regulations of FEMA, an EA is being prepared to assess the potential impacts of each of the proposed alternatives on the human and natural environment. This also provides public notice to invite public comments on the proposed project in accordance with Executive Order 11988, Floodplain Management, and Executive Order 11990, Protection of Wetlands. In addition, this notice and the draft EA provide information to the public on potential impacts to historic and cultural resources from the proposed undertaking, as outlined in the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966.

This EA is available for agency and public review and comment for a period of 30 days. The EA is available on FEMA’s website at https://www.fema.gov/

emergency-managers/practitioners/environmental-historic/ region/5. The EA is also available on the Faribault County website at https://co.faribault.mn. us/home/bulletins/verona-township-draft-environmental-assessment. Interested parties may request an electronic copy of the EA from either of those websites.

Written comments regarding this environmental action should be received no later than 5 p.m. on December 1, 2021, by mail to Duane Castaldi, Regional Environmental Officer, FEMA Region V, 536 South Clark Street, 6th Floor, Chicago, IL 60605-1521; or by email at FEMA-R5-Environmental@fema.dhs.gov. If no substantive comments are received by the above deadline, the draft EA and associated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) will become final and be published by FEMA. Substantive comments will be addressed as appropriate in the final documents.
