Dressler – NWEA testing beginning the last week of January. Elementary and MS students participated in BINGO and various crafts, bowling and ice skating the day before winter break.

2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of the January 18, 2022 regular and drainage meetings.

5. Adopted Resolution 22-CB-15 awarding the sale of the $9.4 million State Aid Highway bond to Northland Securities. All voted yes.

6. Appointed Jenna Schmidtke to another four-year term as Veterans Service Officer.

7. Approved a 3-year service protection plan agreement with VTI Security at a cost of $6,787.00 per year, including a 5% discount.

8. Approved the hiring of Kaleena Wiens as probation office administrative specialist.

9. Adopted Resolution 22-CB-14 issuing an on-sale liquor license to the Elmore American Legion. All voted yes.

10. Adopted Resolution 22-CB-16 approving repurchase of a tax forfeited parcel in Elmore by the prior owner. All voted yes.

11. Approved a 5-year postage machine lease with Quadient Leasing at a cost of $211.97 per month.

12. Approved training requests from J. Blair to attend a 4-day County Auditor Election Training conference in Breezy Point; and L. Rebuffoni to attend a 3-day Mn Assoc of County Feedlot Officers annual conference in Alexandria.

13. Approved payment of the following bills: audit/auxiliary totaling $323,932.00.

BLUE EARTH AREA SCHOOLS HIGH SCHOOL VENTILATION UPGRADE

Sealed Prime General Contract Bids for the Blue Earth Area Schools High School Ventilation Upgrades will be received by the Owner at the District Offices’ Conference Room at 315 East 6th Street, Blue Earth, Minnesota 56013 by mail or personal delivery until March 7th, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at which date and time, all bids will be opened and read aloud.

A pre bid conference and walkthrough will be held Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Blue Earth Area High School, 1125 North Grove. Interested bidders should meet at door “L”.

Project Scope: Removal of existing pneumatic controls and the installation of CHW, and HW control valves and associated piping. Replacement of AHU supply and return air Dampers.

Bidders shall submit their proposal on the forms provided. Proposal shall be filled in clearly and correctly with ink or other permanent format. Proposal shall be signed by the individual, members of the partnership, or by one or more officers of the corporation making the proposal.

Bidding documents may be obtained at the Office of Building & Grounds, 315 East 6th Street, Blue Earth, Minnesota 56013. For more information regarding project, contact Al Gieser, Building & Grounds Supervisor for Blue Earth Area Schools, at 507-526-650l.

All bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope upon which shall be plainly marked “BLUE EARTH AREA HIGH SCHOOL VENTILATION UPGRADE” and the name of the bidder. If a bid is to be mailed, the bid envelope shall be sealed in a regular mailing envelope. FAX and E-mail Bids will not be accepted. The owner reserves the right to hold and consider the bids for 30 days after the date of the bid opening. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or certified check payable to Blue Earth Area Schools for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid including add alternates. A bidders bond shall include a certified copy of the power of attorney.

The right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any or all bids, are reserved to the owner.
