PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the drainage authority for County Ditch #52 will hold a final hearing on the redetermination of benefits of County Ditch #52. The Viewers’ Report was filed with the drainage authority on December 17th, 2022 and is available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main Street, Blue Earth, MN. The engineer’s and viewers’ reports were filed with the drainage authority on December 13th and December 17th, 2022 and are available for inspection at the Faribault County Auditor’s Office, 415 North Main Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013. The project involves installation of approximately 6,954 linear feet of 8” tile, 1,706 linear feet of 10″ tile, 7,943 linear feet of 12” tile, 4,874 linear feet of 15″ tile, 1,427 linear feet of 18” tile, 3,294 linear feet of 24″ tile, 1,522 linear feet of 30” tile, 9,192 linear feet of 36″ tile, and 2,502 linear feet of 42″ tile. The proposed project outlets into an unnamed tributary of the Blue Earth River in the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 6 of Elmore Township.

Last Will dated December 9, 2014 has been filed with the Probate Registrar, and the application has been granted.
Notice is also given that the Probate Registrar has informally appointed the following: Randy D. Gilreath, 428 Tyler Avenue, North Mankato, MN 56003 and Richard L. Gilreath, 122 1st Avenue NW, Winnebago, MN 56098 as personal representatives of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representatives, or may object to the appointment of the personal representatives. Unless objections are filed pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-607, and the court otherwise orders, the personal representatives have full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.
Any objections to the probate of the Will, or to the appointment of the personal representatives, must be filed with this court, and will be heard by the court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.
Notice is also given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representatives or to the Court Administrator within four (4) months after the date of this Notice, or the claims will be barred.

JANUARY 17, 2023
1. All members present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of the January 3, 2023 regular and drainage meetings.
3. Approved agenda of January 17, 2023 with additions.
4. No one appeared during public comment.
5. Appointed Sara Hauskins as staff alternate to the RMEB Board.
6. Approved the tuition reimbursement request of T. Watson in the amount of $600.00.
7. Approved a cell phone stipend for B. Bromeland.
8. Directed the planning commission to investigate possible amendments to the Feedlot Ordinance limited to ‘D. Section Four – General Guidelines (1) Animal Units, Area Requirements, and Setback Regulations’, and to ‘D. Section Four – General Guidelines (4) Restrictions on Land Application sites’.
9. Directed the planning commission to investigate a possible amendment to the Zoning Ordinance limited to F-5. Lot Area Regulations & F-6. Lot Width and Dept Regulation of both Sections 6-A-1 Shoreland Agriculture District & 7 – A-2 General Agriculture District of the Zoning Ordinance.
10. Adopted Resolution 23-CB-06 approving the Hazard Mitigation Agreement. All voted yes.
11. Directed the board chair to sign the letter of commitment of funds.
12. Appointed Commissioner Roper to the Traverse des Sioux Regional Library Systems Board.
13. Approved six pay applications as listed totaling $811,196.51 for the courthouse HVAC project.
14. Set private forfeited land sale 2023-A, pending Foster Township approval, for 9:00 AM Monday, March 6, 2023 at the county auditor/treasurer office.
15. Directed the county auditor to refrain from lowering the opening bid price of private sale 2023-A and to instead hold unsold parcels for public sale at a date to be determined.
16. Approved training requests from J. Schmidtke to attend the Mn Dept of Veterans Affairs Spring Conference in St. Cloud; and V. Do to attend a Chemical Irritant for Instructors course in Elk River.
17. Approved training request from V. Do to attend a Realistic De-Escalation Instructor Course in Des Plaines, IL.
18. Approved payment of bills totaling $6,747,902.94.
Discussion was held concerning the following:
1. S. Hauskins met regarding Planning & Zoning.
2. P. Krill met regarding central services business.
3. A. Hanson and S. Rosenau met regarding the Blue Earth Area Tennis Association.
4. Discussion was held regarding the commissioner wages.
