It is Ordered and Notice is given that on November 28, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at 415 N Main Street Blue Earth, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, November 5, 2008, and codicils to the will, dated November 14, 2008, (“Will”), and for the appointment of Jo Anne Kraayenhof, whose address is 46860 140th St, Easton, MN, 56025 as
Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
A charitable beneficiary may request notice of the probate proceedings be given to the Attorney General pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 501B.41, subdivision 5.

NOTICE OF INFORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s Will, dated June 18, 2018, and (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.
Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Ryan C. Borris, whose address is 35593 150th St, Winnebago, Minnesota, 56098, as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.
Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

• Chairperson’s Report: Thanked staff for getting the school year off to a good start.
• Superintendent’s Report:
A. Enrollment Update: Discussed Enrollment this year compared to last year and projections for year 2024-2025.
B. Class Size Comparisons: A handout was provided comparing class size to other districts.
C. Review start of school year: Thank you to staff for a great start!
D. Summer Projects Update: Comprehensive list of projects was shared that were completed by BEAS maintenance and custodial teams over the summer months.
E. Operational Plan Update: A 3-year Operational Plan overview was given.
• Committee Reports:
A. DAT: Superintendent Fletcher provided an update from the August 17th meeting specific to the 3-year Operational Plan.
B. Negotiations: Next meeting is September 20th at 6 pm.
• Principal’s Report: Dressler spoke about the successful start of school, ‘back to school’ conferences and the new online registration. Also, there was a Foam Party held as well as a welcome back to school for families and there was a great turn out.
Sturtz – Rubrics information was shared and getting staff on the same page for Tier 1 instruction and behaviors. Also he spoke about goals of helping students learn how to navigate the cafeteria during lunch time and working to get a system down.
Shaffer: Thanked K. Zierke for the metal mascot addition to the High School. Bucs Bash a great success and a thank you to staff for all of their hard work. First week went great and students and staff looking forward to Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 22nd.
• Curriculum/Instruction Director Report: Schmidt updated the Board on NWEA starting the week of Sept 11th and that the District assessment and testing calendar would be available on the school website. She also shared that she worked with K5 Math with teachers to give them a refresher and answer questions about the curriculum.

• Approve Proposed Levy 2023 Payable 2024: Discussion was had regarding the Initial Levy Limitations report and the Board certified the maximum levy amount. The final Levy will be approved following the Truth in Taxation hearing held on Dec 4th, 2023 at 6 pm. at the High School. On a Beyer/Eckles motion. Approved 7-0
• Approve 2023-2024 Literacy Plan: On a Zierke/Beyer motion. Approved 7-0
