Contract Description:
The contract is a unit price contract described in detail in Division 0 of the Project Specifications.
Project Schedule:
Construction activities may commence on or after March 31st, 2024. A working window of 6 months is set for this project from commencing construction activities to substantial project completion. All work included in the contract other than warranty work shall be completed by August 1st, 2025. Warranty and Maintenance activities will extend to August 1, 2028.
Project Plans and Documents Bid sets must be downloaded from QuestCDN.com, project #8954568, for a fee of $22.00. Bids must be submitted online through Quest vBid for a fee of $42.00. 1. All members present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of January 2, 2024 regular and drainage meetings.
3. Approved amended agenda of January 16, 2024.
4. No one appeared during public comment.
5. Approved Resolution 24-CB-03 to approve donations made to the Faribault County Veterans Service Office in 2023. All voted yes.
6. Approved the Le Sueur River Watershed Collaboration Fiscal Agent Sub-agreement.
7. Approved directing the Planning Commission board to amend the Faribault County Subdivision ordinance to require county review of a deed or other instrument conveying a parcel for transfer or division for conformity with the county’s land use regulations before the county auditor transfers or divides the land or its net tax capacity in the official records.
8. Approved the hire of Steve Robbins effective January 17th, 2024, as a part time contractor for the assessor’s office 28-30 hours per week at a rate of $23.72 per hour with a contract length of six months, and with the option to evaluate the position after that time.
9. Approved a cell phone stipend in the amount of $50 per month for Amy Wachlin.
10. Approved an SSTS grant in the amount of $3,000 and loan in the amount of $15,701.86 to Randy Lewis for parcel #15.002.0501 in Prescott Township.
11. Approved training requests from T. Hanevik to attend the 5th District Jail Administrators Conference in Alexandria; B. Schaper to attend an online Pavement Rehabilitation class, Grading and Base Inspector Recertification, and Bituminous Plant Inspector Recertification class; S. Hauskins and L. Adams to attend the Mn Assoc of County Feedlot Officers Annual Conference in Prior Lake; and L. Frommie to attend the HSEM Governor’s Conference in Brooklyn Center.
12. Approved the training request from J. Schmidtke to attend the NACVSO Annual Conference in Denver, CO.
13. Approved payment of the following bills: Auditor warrants totaling $$577,782.95, ACH-EFT payments totaling $774,969.46; and audit/auxiliary totaling $776,773.60.
