Faribault County Drainage Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Faribault County Ditch No. 24 Improvement
ISG (the Engineer) Project No. 12-14012
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by ISG (the Engineer) electronically through QuestCDN until March 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be posted publicly online.
The project includes the following major quantities of Work:
1. Approximately 7,400 linear feet of agricultural tile with sizes ranging from 15-inch to 30-inch. An estimated total of 186 linear feet of directional drilling or boring 15-inch pipe under roadway for two crossings of County Road 7. One open cut and restore gravel road for 230th street road crossing. Site restoration of disturbed tillable land and road ditches, seeding and erosion control.
The awarded contractor must guarantee the tile work under the contract for three years after its completion against any fault or negligence on the part of the awarded Contractor.

TYPE OF WORK: Remove all roof areas down to the decking and dispose of all debris. Install two layers of 2.6” thick ISO insulation and secure the decking with mechanical fasteners. Attach 1/8″ per foot tapered ISO over the base insulation. Fully-adhere 60 mil thick white TPO over the new insulation. Complete all flashings and details per Elevate recommendations. Fabricate and install new 24-gauge thick colored metal cap, edge, scuppers, and downspouts. Work to be completed in the calendar year of 2024.

1. All members present. The pledge of allegiance was recited.
2. Approved synopsis and official proceedings of the February 6, 2024 regular and drainage meetings, and February 14, 2024 special meeting.
3. Approved agenda of February 20, 2024.
4. Approved a contract for professional services with Pat Martinson at a rate of $60 per hour for an estimated 10-15 hours of work.
5. Approved Resolution 24-CB-12 authorizing Amy Sathoff and Nadia Lane to make electronic funds transfers and sign on behalf of Faribault County. All voted yes.
6. Approved the liquor license renewal for the American Legion Post 192.
7. Approved a 36-month rental agreement with Metro Sales, Inc. for a Ricoh IMC4500 copier/printer/scanner for the extension office at $185.73 per month.
8. Approved the hire of Isabella Nelson as a property appraiser.
9. Approved training requests from B. Gehrking to attend a US Police Canine Association Narcotics Detection Certification in Wright County, V. Do to attend a TASER Instructor Course in Marshall, and M. Lore and L. Schonborn to attend a Confined Spaces in Construction training in Savage.
10. Approved the training request from B. Gehrking to attend the Dogs for Law Enforcement Iowa K9 Seminar in Independence, IA.
11. Approved payment of the following bills: Auditor warrants totaling $2,855,169.93, ACH-EFT payments totaling $1,595,561.67; and audit/auxiliary totaling $283,396.43.
Discussion was held concerning the following:
