Arnold, whose address is 404 6th St. NW, New Richland, MN 56072 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.

Dr. Sarah Mittelstadt – Southern Plains Cooperative Executive Director gave a detailed description of the services offered by the Coop and how they do their billing and receive funding.

X. Superintendent’s Report:
A. Enrollment Update – An update was given on K12 enrollment as of February 12 – 1,023. In February of 2023, the district had 1,024 students.
B. School Board Recognition Month -Fletcher presented each board member with a recognition certificate and thanked them for their service.
C. Legislative Update – Announced that the new legislative session just started Feb 12th and shared a few of the platforms in the new session.
D. ISG/KA Update – An update was given on the continued efforts of ISG/KA, BEAS and Baird (financials) in gathering information for a possible construction project. Next steps include meeting with the Facilities Committee and Community Task Force to update them on the progress/discussions held since October.
XI. Committee Reports:
Policy Committee – Mensing gave a brief update on the policies listed below for Final Approval. Minor changes were made.
Community Education Advisory Committee – Franta provided an update on the recent Committee meeting in regards to funding for the VPK program.
Joint Powers Committee – Zierke gave an update the Fairgrounds baseball bleachers passing inspection and the approval of a new batting cage net for use at the Fairgrounds.
QComp Committee – Franta gave an update on the meeting including the Mentor/Mentee program and PLC grants.
XII. Principal Reports:
Dressler: Dressler
Sturtz – Sturtz gave highlights of recent activities held in the K7 building.
Shaffer: Shaffer discussed upcoming events at the HS. Conferences were on February 22nd.
XIII. Curriculum/Instruction Director Update: Schmidt discussed recent training that the staff participated in. EL students have completed the ACCESS testing and students in K7 with take the test the end of February. MCA testing is starting on April 2, 2024.

Armon left meeting at 7:12 pm due to a prior engagement.) A motion was made by Zierke/Eckles to approve the early start calendar. Approved 5-1.
