HEARING REGARDING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SALE OF INTOXICATING HEMP PRODUCTS AND AMENDING THE CITY’S ZONING CODE TO ESTABLISH DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS FROM

CERTAIN BUSINESSES

AND PROHIBIT CERTAIN HOME OCCUPATIONS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Wells will open a public hearing on August 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Wells Community Center, 189 2nd Street SE, Wells, Minnesota, at its regularly scheduled meeting, to receive public comment regarding the proposed Ordinance No. 2024-04 Establishing Registration Requirements for the Sale of Intoxicating Hemp Products and Amending the City’s Zoning Code to Establish Distance Requirements from Certain Businesses and Prohibit Certain Home Occupations.

Any person wishing to provide comment may do so at the time and place of the above-referenced public hearing or by providing written comment prior to such public hearing. Written comments should be delivered or addressed to the City Administrator, 125 South Broadway, Wells, Minnesota 56097.
